§ COLONEL SEELY (Liverpool, Abercromby)To ask the Secretary of State for War how many men were discharged from the Army during the past year suffering from tubercle of the lung; how many of these men were sent to their homes, with a notification to the local medical officer of health; and how many were sent direct to hospitals or sanatoria, stating the particular hospitals or sanatoria and the numbers sent to each.
§ (Answered by MR. Secretary Haldane.) The statistics available at the War Office do not contain the required information. It will be necessary to call for Returns from all Army hospitals at home. When 1008 the information has been collected I will have it forwarded to my hon. and gallant friend.
