HC Deb 20 February 1907 vol 169 cc854-5
MR. MOORE (Armagh, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state what progress has been made towards carrying out the drainage of the Bann area.

MR. BIRRELL

A valuation of the lands which would be beneficially affected by the adoption of the proposed drainage scheme has been in progress for some months past, and will, I understand, be completed in the course of next month. Upon the receipt of the valuer's report the Government will be in a position to further consider the question.
