§ MR. GLADSTONEThe arrangements for attendance at inquests in any district rest with the inspector in charge of the district, who has power to direct the assistant to attend in any case in which he considers it necessary or desirable.

§ MR. GLADSTONEI do not quite see in what direction it can be altered. The assistant must necessarily be under the authority of the inspector, and it will rest with the latter to decide whether or not he shall attend the inquest.
