SIR FRANCIS CHANNING (Northamptonshire, E.)

To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether it is now proposed to reconsider the sentences passed by courts-martial on Stoker Moody and others at Portsmouth, with a view to their further mitigation or remission.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) I must refer my hon. friend to the Answer made by the Prime Minister to the hon. Member for Merthyr Tydfil on 17th December last,†to which there is at present nothing to add.
