§ MR. WILLIAM REDMOND (Clare, E.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state the number of sales of land under the Land Act of 1903 in county Clare up to date, giving the amount of purchase money and the number of estates and tenants involved.
§ MR. BIRRELLUp to the 9th instant, the Estates Commissioners had received applications for advances from 2,026 tenant purchasers in county Clare, the number of estates concerned being 100, and the total purchase money,£597,779. Of these cases, sales had been completed to 425 purchasers on thirty estates, the purchase money being £110,683.
