HC Deb 28 August 1907 vol 182 c431
MR. MORTON (Sutherland)

To ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, with regard to the grant of £100,000 for school buildings in England and Wales, he will see that an equivalent grant is made to Scotland.

(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) In view of this grant it will be my duty to consider what the further needs of Scotland are in respect of education and make representations to the Treasury accordingly, but I am not prepared to admit that we should be fettered by any system of exact equivalents.
