HC Deb 27 August 1907 vol 182 c383
MR. FIELD

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, seeing that the Assistant Comptroller and Auditor, on appointment, undertook to perform any additional duties that might devolve upon him as a result of the abolition of the chief clerkship then in contemplation, he will explain why £50 non-pensionable allowance was merged in the salary of the private secretary for pensionable purposes.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) I have nothing to add to the replies already given on this subject.
