Reason for disagreeing to one of the Lords Amendments reported, and agreed to.

MR. SPEAKER

informed the House that until a message was received from the other House in reference to the two Bills that were sent up to them yesterday the business of the House could not be proceeded with. He, therefore, proposed to leave the Chair until such message arrived.

The sitting was suspended at a quarter past Four of the Clock.

The House resumed at a quarter to Eight of the Clock.
