Return ordered, "showing, so far as can be stated (1) the Exports to China, inclusive of Hong Kong, from the United Kingdom, Germany, and the United States for the years 1887 to 1906, and the average for each of the quinquennial periods ending 1891, 1896, 1901, and 1906, showing increase in value and percentage between the averages for the last and each earlier period; (2) a similar Return for the same periods showing Exports to Argentina from the same countries; and (3) a similar Return showing Exports from the same countries to the whole of South America (in continuation of Parliamentary Paper, No. 131, of Session 1906)."—(Mr. Lloyd-George.)
