HC Deb 26 August 1907 vol 182 c164
MR. FELL

I beg to ask the President of the Board of Trade if the latest Returns show any slackening of the abnormal demand for coal from the continent; and if he can give the amount of the export of coal from the United Kingdom during the months of June and July of each of the years 1905, 1906, and 1907.

MR. LLOYD-GEORGE

I am informed on inquiry at the Customs that there is at present no indication of a slackening in the demand for British coal on the continent. I will have a statement with regard to the export of coal from the United Kingdom for the months named printed in the Votes.
