COOPERI beg to ask the President of the Board of Education whether his attention has been drawn to the statement of the medical officer of health for Bermondsey as to the verminous and insanitary condition of the Neckinger London County Council school, Bermondsey; and whether he will require the school to be placed in a sanitary and cleanly condition before the children return to school after the holidays.
§ MR. McKENNAMy attention has not been drawn to the statement referred to, but I have given directions for the matter to be investigated.
