To ask the Lord Advocate whether the superior is rated to any of the public burdens arising in his superiority upon the amount received from his vassals as casualties of composition upon singular successions; and whether such amount is in any way a subject of taxation either as a separate subject or as a part of the composite land value of the heritage.
