DELANYTo ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state what is the cause of the delay in the completion of the sale on the estate of Captain Caldbeck, Ballacolla, Queen's County; whether he is aware that the estate has been before the Estates Commissioners for the past three years; and will he use his influence to have the sale expedited.
§ (Answered by Mr. Birr ell.) The Estates Commissioners have made a provisional offer for the purchase of this estate, but the owner has not accepted it. The matter is now under the further consideration of the Commissioners.
