HC Deb 30 April 1907 vol 173 c705
MR. SUMMERBELL

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Treasury if he can say whether the Harton Coal Company have abated the nuisance of tipping slag, firebrick, and cinders on to the beach at Whitburn, near Sunderland; and, if not, whether he will take action in regard to the same.

MR. RUNCIMAN

I am informed that tipping on the beach will be discontinued in about a month's time.
