§ SIR SAMUEL SCOTT (Marylebone. W.)To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty how many appointments have been made to permanent messengerships at the Admiralty since January, 1906; and what was the occupation of the individual men prior to appointment.
(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) Since January, 1906, fifteen appointments to the staff of Admiralty messengers have been made. Of this number eight were naval pensioners and seven marine pensioners.
