§ MR. VINCENT KENNEDY (Cavan, W.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application for reinstatement from Patrick Fitzpatrick, Drumrush, Drums-laddy, Belturbet, county Cavan; are the Estates Commissioners in treaty for any untenanted land in county Cavan; and will this evicted tenant's claim have their attention.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners are unable to trace the receipt from this evicted tenant of an application for reinstatement. Some 600 acres of untenanted land in county Cavan are at present being inspected on behalf of the Commissioners with a view to purchase.
