I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether his attention has been drawn to the poisoning of the crofters' dogs in the neighbourhood of Badininish, Skelbo, Sutherland; whether he is aware that a dog is absolutely necessary to the crofter; will he take steps to put an end to this persecution of crofters: and is he aware that putting poison about may be a danger to human beings as well as animals.
