HC Deb 24 April 1907 vol 173 cc3-4

The CHAIRMAN of WAYS and MEANS informed the House that, the Committee on Group 6 of Railway Bills not being appointed to meet until To-morrow, the parties opposing the London County Council (Tramways and Improvements) Bill, which was set down for consideration upon the first day of the meeting of the Committee, had appeared before him and proved that the evidence of Sub-Divisional Inspector Arthur Sims, of the Y Division of the Metropolitan Police, of Platt Street Police Station, Saint Pan-eras, N.W., was essential to their case, and that his attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House.

Ordered, That Sub-Divisional Inspector Arthur Sims do attend the Committee on Gloup 6 of Railway Bills to-morrow, at half-past eleven of the clock.

Watford and Edgware Railway Bill. Reported [preamble not proved]; Report to lie upon the Table, and to be printed.
