HC Deb 24 April 1907 vol 173 cc33-4
DR. COOPER (Bermondsey, Southwark)

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he is aware that the Borough Council of Paddington has refused to take the legal proceeding advised by its Public Health Committee against local traders who had failed to supply the names and addresses of home workers in their service; and whether the Local Government Board has power to take legal action.

I beg to answer this Question on behalf of my right hon. friend. I am in communication with the borough council in regard to the matter referred to in the Question, and shall be happy in due course to inform my hon. friend of the result.
