HC Deb 18 April 1907 vol 172 cc1172-3
MR. STANLEY WILSON

I beg to ask the Prime Minister whether it is his intention to have official reports made of all proceedings taking place on the four new Grand Committees, and having such reports published for the use and benefit of all Members of the House.

SIR H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

Official Reports in the case of the Proceedings of the House itself, as well as of the Standing Committees, are confined to what is done and do not extend to what is spoken. We do not contemplate any alteration of this practice.

MR. STANLEY WILSON

How will Members of this House be able to gain information as to what takes place upstairs?

SIR H. CAMPBELL-BANNERMAN

In the way they have done in past years.
