To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether any coastguard stations in Great Britain or Ireland have been closed during the past twelve months and, if so, how many.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) In the last twelve months ten stations and fourteen detachments in Great Britain have been closed; and fourteen stations and three detachments in Ireland.
