HC Deb 17 April 1907 vol 172 c997
MR. CLANCY (Dublin County, N.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the tenants on the county Dublin estate of Baron de Robeck, of Naas, executed agreements for the purchase of their holdings so far back as the 18th April, 1905, and that the sale has not yet been completed, with the result that the tenants are still paying interest at 4 per cent. on the purchase money; and, if so, what is the cause of the delay.

MR. BIRRELL

The purchase agreements in this case were lodged with the Estates Commissioners in June, 1905. The case has not yet reached its turn to be dealt with. It will be dealt with in order of priority, under the Regulations.
