CARLILE (Hertfordshire, St. Albans)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether the reports from the General Officers Commanding, to which he referred on 11th December, 1906, † in reply to a Question on the subject of the expenses falling on the brigade majors of Volunteer brigades, have been received; and whether he can now see his way to grant adequate allowances to these officers in view of their increased duties and expenses.
