PIKE PEASE (Darlington)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has any official information showing that Congo Free State troops are still occupying four stations in the Bahr-el-Ghazal, and that the Lado enclave is occupied by a force of 1,800 men; and, if so, whether he can explain the reasons which induce the Congo Free State administration to maintain so large a military force within striking distance of British territory.
