EDMUND ROBERTSONIt has not been necessary for the Admiralty to make fresh contracts for soap since the reports have appeared in the Press regarding the formation of a combine by certain soap manufacturing firms. A number of the firms on the Admiralty list are reported to have joined the combine, while others apparently have not done so.
§ MR. CLAUDE HAYWill the Admiralty take steps to ensure that in future no soap is purchased from firms interested in the trust?
