HC Deb 29 October 1906 vol 163 c673
MR. NIELD (Middlesex, Ealing)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he will say when it is probable that he will lay upon the Table of the House the Return moved for in February last and ordered to be made as to the countries within the Empire where coolie labour is employed and the conditions regulating the same, and also regulating the housing of such coolies.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) Several Colonies have not yet replied, but every effort will be made to complete the Return before the close of the session.
