HC Deb 29 November 1906 vol 166 cc272-3
MR. WALKER (Leicestershire, Melton)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether, with a view to official evidence on the subject being given before the Royal Commission upon Shipping Freights, he will call the attention of the President of the Board of Trade to the statements in the latest Colonial Report from the Straits Settlements regarding the injurious effects of the action of a combination of shipowners upon the trade of Singapore.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) Any information in the possession of the Colonial Office on the subject will, of course, be communicated to the Board of Trade.
