HC Deb 29 November 1906 vol 166 cc299-300
MR. LYNCH

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether, in view of the importance of the question, †See (4) Debates, clxv., 610. he will consider the possibility of overcoming the difficulties in the way of obtaining even approximately accurate statistics as to the output of native opium in China.

SIR EDWARD GREY

I fear I can add nothing to my reply to the hon. Member's Question of the 27th instant on this subject. Of course, any further information that can be obtained will be obtained, but I cannot promise to get more than exists.
