HC Deb 29 November 1906 vol 166 cc318-9
MR. VINCENT KENNEDY (Cavan, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners are negotiating for the purchase of the untenanted lands in the landlords' hands in the townland of Coolbane, Lossett, and Drumroe on the Lieutenant-Colonel W. C. Lloyd, and others, estate, county Cavan.

MR. BRYCE

The Estates Commissioners inform me that the only untenanted land on the estate in question †† See (4) Debates, clviii., 426. consists of seventy-seven acres in the townlands of Coolbane and Lossett, which the vendors are selling in parcels to five persons who have signed agreements for the purchase thereof.
