§ MR. FLAVINTo ask the Chief Secretary the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can state if Mr. Michael Cronin, of Finuge, Listowel, has applied for a gun licence; and, if so, whether the licence to carry arms will be granted.
(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I am informed that Mr. Cronin has applied for a licence to keep a gun, and that the resident magistrate of the district, in the exercise of his discretion, has refused the application.
