MR. J. P. FARRELL

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland to state the present position as regards the sale of the Macauly, North Longford, estate; whether the inspection has yet been concluded and the schedule approved; and what action the Estates Commissioners have taken to preserve the turbary rights of the tenant.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that they are unable to trace any proceedings for the sale of the estate in question.
