HC Deb 27 November 1906 vol 165 c1407
MR. FETHERSTONHAUGH (Fermanagh, N.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether any arrangements have been made with the Conservators of Fisheries in the Erne district for contribution by the Crown, as the owner of the bed and soil of Lough Erne, towards the preservation of the Erne Fisheries.

(Answered by Mr. Bryce.) I am informed that the local Board of Conservators are in correspondence with the Commissioners of Woods and Forests with a view to securing the Commissioners' co-operation in the protection of the Lough Erne Fisheries. The Commissioners have asked that the Conservators should put forward a definite proposal on the subject, and the matter is to be further considered at the next meeting of the Conservators.
