To ask the Undersecretary of State for the Colonies if he will consider the advisability of submitting the provisions for the safety of human life, contained in the Merchant Shipping (No. 2) Bill, to the Colonial Conference to be held next year, with a view of applying its provisions for the safety of human life to all ships, both British, Foreign, and Colonial, sailing from ports in the Colonies.
