HC Deb 22 November 1906 vol 165 c1018
MR. FFRENCH (Wexford, S.)

I beg to ask the Postmaster General whether his attention his been called to complaints of the New Ross District Council, the magistrates assembled at petty sessions in Duncormack and in Killinick, as well as several country gentlemen, as to the inadequacy of the postal system in South Wexford; whether he is aware that a Dublin newspaper is not delivered until it is a day old, and a London evening newspaper until it is three days old; and whether, in view of the postal facilities offered by the new railway across South Wexford, he will order an inquiry into the South Wexford postal system with a view to giving a second delivery at Killinick, Bridgetown, Duncormack, Wellington Bridge, Carrig-in-Bannow, Ballycullane, Campill, and wherever it is possible to do so.

MR. SYDNEY BUXTON

I have called for a report on this subject, and I will communicate with the hon. Member after I have received it.
