§ MR. GINNELLI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he will state what reply, if any, the Estates Commissioners have received from Mr. A. S. Montgomery with reference to the sale of his untenanted lands at Riversdale, Killucan; and, having regard to Mr. Montgomery's willingness to sell his tenanted lands ten years ago, will the Commissioners ask him to sell his entire estate to them now.
MR. BRYCEThe Estates Commissioner's inform me that they have been given to understand that the only untenanted land in the possession of Mr. Montgomery consists of about 700 acres of bogland, and that the landlord is at present in negotiation with his tenants for the sale to them of his estate.
