HC Deb 19 November 1906 vol 165 c368
MR. W. F. D. SMITH (Strand, Westminster)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, before coming to a decision to rebuild the Westminster county court upon its present site, the officials of the court and of the city councils were asked for their opinions upon the proposed plans; and whether such opinions were favourable or not.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) The city council was not consulted; but sketch plans of the proposed building were communicated to the judge and the registrar of the court, who raised objections to certain features of the scheme.
