§ MR. BARNES (Glasgow, Blackfriars)To ask the Secretary of State for War what is the total amount due per week to the 1,490 officials at present employed at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, and the amount due, or paid, per week to the 12,291 workmen employed.

For the week ending 27th October last the amount paid to the 1,490 officials in the Ordnance factories, Royal Arsenal, was £3,833 1s. 4d., and the amount paid to the 12,291 workmen was £20,023 4s. 3d. I may point out that the 1,490 officials include the central office staff', which is for the Ordnance factories at Enfield and Waltham Abbey as well as those at the Royal Arsenal.
