HC Deb 15 November 1906 vol 165 c125
MR. O'SHEE (Waterford, W.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that the staff of the Estates Commissioners are seriously hampered by having to carry on their work in many of the smaller rooms of a private house, which were formerly used as bedrooms, and are very inconvenient as the offices of an important public Department; and whether he will take steps to have suitable offices erected for the staff of the Estates Commissioners on a scale such as is usual for public Departments of similar importance in London.

MR. McKENNA

I understand that steps are being, taken to erect suitable offices for the staff of the Irish Land Commission and Estates Commissioners. Additional accommodation is meanwhile being provided, and will be available on or before 1st February, 1907.
