† See Col. 825, ct seq.1036 Stepney Division of Tower Hamlets, I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that of seventy-seven men recently discharged from the Royal Gun Factory, Woolwich, sixty were long service men; and whether he can state the number of men discharged from the various departments of the Royal Arsenal during the last twelve months who have been in receipt of a bonus.
§ MR. HALDANESeventy-eight men were discharged from the Royal Gun Factory in the week ending 3rd instant. Of these, thirty-six were men with over seven years service, eighteen of six years service, nine of five years, and the remainder (fifteen) had less than five years service. Of the men discharged from the Ordnance Factories, Woolwich, during the last twelve months, 764 received a gratuity, and forty-three received a pension.
