Max Nettlau was refused permission to land in this country because he refused to undergo a medical examination under the terms of the Aliens Act; whether he is aware that Dr. Nettlau is a Doctor of Philosophy who for twenty years past has paid an annual visit to this country for the purpose of studying at the British Museum; 746 and whether he will give instructions to prevent a recurrence of such an incident.
