HC Deb 07 November 1906 vol 164 cc555-6
MAJOR ANSTRUTHER-GRAY (St. Andrews Burghs)

I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether, in view of the general consensus of opinion among fishermen as to the harm caused to their industry by the whaling stations in Scotland, he will take the necessary steps to abate the grievance.

THE SECRETARY FOR SCOTLAND (Mr. SINCLAIR, Forfarshire)

I propose to consider the introduction next session | of a Bill dealing with this subject, based upon the report of the Departmental Committee on whaling and whale-curing, Command Paper 2138 of 1904.
