§ MR. CLAUDE HAY (Shoreditch, Hoxton)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he has arranged to receive a deputation of the East Ham Workmen's Trains Committee with regard to the fares charged by the District Railway Company, in accordance with the request tendered to him by that committee some time ago.
§ MR. KEARLEYMy right hon. friend the President of the Board of Trade has replied to this request in a letter, of which I am sending the hon. Member a copy, suggesting that the proposed interview with the committee might be postponed.
