§ MR. PICKERSGILL (Bethnal Green, S.W.)I beg to ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether he has now official information to the effect that the Chinese labourers in the Rand mines 119 are required to make their complaints to the managers of the mines, instead of to the inspectors under the superintendent of foreign labour as heretofore; and, if he has not any information on the subject, will he be good enough to cause inquiry to be made.
§ MR. CHURCHILLI am in communication with the Governor on the subject.
