HC Deb 01 November 1906 vol 163 c1311
MR. BEAUCHAMP (Suffolk, Lowestoft)

I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he can state the number of merchant vessels, other than those chartered, which placed themselves at the disposal of the Admiralty during the recent manœuvres; whether all or any of them sailed under convoy; whether any were captured; and, if so, how many.

THE SECRETARY TO THE ADMIRALTY (Mr. EDMI'ND ROBERTSON,) Dundee

I am not in a position at present to make any statement on this subject.
