HC Deb 01 November 1906 vol 163 c1302
MR. CAIRNS (Newcastle-on-Tyne)

To ask the Secretary to the Treasury whether, in view of the fact that the tax upon exported coal ceases on the 1st November, he will cause to be continued the system of records made during recent years at the various Custom Houses so that information may still be obtainable as to the various descriptions of coals exported.

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) It has been decided to continue the system, established during recent years, of recording the various descriptions of coal exported. Information on the subject will be available as hitherto.
