§ MR. WALTERSI beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether he will reconsider his decision limiting loans for new school buildings to thirty years; and whether he will grant an extended period where the buildings contemplated warrant such an extension.
§ MR. JOHN BURNSThe rule upon which the Local Government Board usually act is not to allow more than thirty years for the repayment of loans for buildings. I have given careful consideration to the matter, but I do not think that an exception to this rule can he made as regards loans for schools.
