CAPTAIN CRAIGI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland the amount of money required to moot outstanding sales voluntarily arranged, agreements for which are in the hands of the Estates Commissioners; and can he give the date by which it may reasonably be expected the last of them will be dealt with.
§ THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. BRYCE,) Aberdeen, SThe Estates Commissioners inform me that the amount of advances applied for and not yet made, in respect of sales by direct agreement between landlord and tenant, is £25,123,572. The Commissioners are unable to forecast the date by which all these advances will be made.
