HC Deb 30 May 1906 vol 158 c392
CAPTAIN FABER (Hampshire, Andover)

To ask the Postmaster-General whether any reason exists for C. Seward, late of parcel post office, Paddington, not receiving His Majesty's Imperial Service Medal; and, if so, what that reason is, considering that C. Seward had thirty-five and a half years of postal service, as well as eight years in the Rifle Brigade and five years in the Reserve, with a discharge character of very good.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) Mr. Seward's record was not considered sufficiently good to justify a recommendation for the Imperial Service Medal in his case.
