FETHERSTONHAUGHI beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether he can inform the House what is the valuation upon which the brewery of Arthur Guinness, Son, and Company, Dublin, is assessed, and how that valuation compares with the brewery of Bass, Ratcliff, and Gretton at Burton; whether he is aware that public-houses in Dublin are valued under the present valuation without reference to the value of their licences; and if he will represent to the Commissioner of Valuation the need for proceeding with the revaluation of Dublin.
