HUDSON (Newcastle)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Education whether it is his intention to deal with the position of school attendance officers, particularly the se who were constituted compulsory officers under the Education Act of 1870 and following amending Acts, and who have been subject to the control of different authorities; and can ho say under what authority they are to be placed, and their status as civil servants, when the Education Bill now before the House becomes operative.
§ MR. BIRRELLI am not aware that School Attendance Officers will be affected in any way by the new Bill.
